After a high profile relationship with actress Gwyneth Paltrow in 1998, Ben Affleck's relationship with actress/singer Jennifer Lopez attracted worldwide media attention in which Affleck and Lopez were dubbed as "Bennifer." Following their breakup in 2004, Ben Affleck began dating Jennifer Garner. The two married in June 2005 and have two daughters, Violet, born December 2005 and Seraphina, born January 2009. Ben Affleck has been actively involved in politics, along with a non-profit organization called the A-T Children's Project. Along with childhood friend Matt Damon, Ben Affleck founded the production company LivePlanet.
Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek moved to Los Angeles, California in 1991 to study acting under Stella Adler. Salma Hayek had limited fluency in English, which was attributed to her suffering from dyslexia. Robert Rodriguez and his producer wife Elizabeth Avellan soon gave Salma Hayek the break she needed, a starring role opposite Antonio Banderas in 1995's Desperado. The movie caught Hollywood's attention, as moviegoers proved to be dazzled by Salma Hayek as Rodriguez had been. Due to Salma Hayek's loyalty to the director, she would later decline playing the role Catherine Zeta-Jones eventually took in The Mask of Zorro after Rodriguez abandoned the project. Salma Hayek also appeared in the Spy Kids trilogy.
